Salty Keys is a Brooklyn-based synth pop musician. Self-producing with only an Akai MPK Mini keyboard and a Samson G-Track Pro, he aims to reflect the ethereal soundscapes and keyboard-soaked grooves of the 1980’s. Are We Lonely? is the debut single from Salty Keys, released in February 2021. The lyrics deal with the anxieties of going out in a modern metropolis, where the neon streets are sometimes not what they seem. The track features Ian Curtis-influenced vocals and a face-melting guitar solo at the end.
